SEQUENCE OF COURSES
While not committing to the EMAC Academy in the freshmen year, students will have the option of taking two semester- long introductory courses from the following list:
In the sophomore year, students will take:
Another elective of their choice, i.e. band, athletics
In the junior year, students will take:
and participate in a CHS publication (Sidekick, KCBY, RoundUp or CHS Advertising)
OR
Choose two other 0.5 credit elective courses from the following list:

In the senior year, students will take:
and participate in a CHS publication (Sidekick, KCBY, Round-Up Yearbook)
OR
Choose two other 0.5 credit elective courses from the following list:

The first class of EMAC seniors will be the 2013-2014 school year
- Basics of Video Editing
- Reporting
- Digital Photography
- Advertising
In the sophomore year, students will take:
- ACAD Geometry, Regular & Pre-AP Algebra II
- ACAD Chemistry
- ACAD Spanish II (for those taking Spanish as a foreign language)
- ACAD English II
- ACAD Pre-AP & AP World History
- ACAD Digital Graphics and Animation,
- Digital Photography II,
- Advanced Journalism,
- Advertising & Sales Promotion,
- Public Relations & Professional Selling,
- Advanced Video Editing.

In the junior year, students will take:
- ACAD Pre-AP & AP Algebra II, Pre-Calculus & Statistics and Risk Management
- ACAD Conceptual Physics, Anatomy & Physiology, Forensic Science
- ACAD Spanish II, III (for those taking Spanish as a foreign language)
- ACAD Pre-AP & AP English III,
- ACAD Pre-AP & AP U.S. History
and participate in a CHS publication (Sidekick, KCBY, RoundUp or CHS Advertising)
